Welp, I start my new job as a gas station attendant tomorrow. Not the most glamorous job, but my boss seems nice, and it'll be a hell of a lot less stressful than food service. That should be good. I'm still looking for a job. Food service can be rough.

Ah, I see. I use Firefox but I hate having more than 4 or 5 tabs open at once.

I'm still looking for a job. Food service can be rough. Management was what frustrated me the most. I consistently worked my ass off for over a year, to the point where it negatively affected my schoolwork, all to get passed up when there were four (!) promotional spots open that were given to people who all had less time served and experience than me. That job taught me two lessons: 1. It's not always your fault when you don't get recognized at work, and 2. Never let your management take you for granted.

Cool, gas station attendant is not bad as far as jobs go. Over here it can be dangerous depending on the area, but it's pretty ok. Also, dope profile pic, AYC

Well, I officially applied for food stamps today.
I'm making minimum wage, going to school full time, and can barely cover my rent, so I think it's justified. Still, this is the first time I've ever had to go on government assistance, and I feel bad about it.

Minimum wage earners are the backbone of any nation, the government should help your ass.

(Now if DDSN would get back in touch with me about possibly covering testing me for Asperger's...)

So, I made a table of AltHistoria's most active users, as of now. This serves the dual purpose of colleting trivia and experimenting with formatting. (we don't have a Test Messages forum for some reason, so this is the next best place to put it.) | Username | Posts | #1 | Krall | 66 | #2 | orvillethird | 50 | #3 | AYC | 40 | #4 | Mooncat | 39 | #5 | ToixStory | 33 | #6 | Usili | 28 | #7 | istanbul | 24 | #8= | romeomuller | 19 | #8= | heliosmegistos | 19 | #10 | saintnicole | 18 |

I'm getting my medical marijuana card today.
Lest you think I'm abusing the system, I do have issues with stress and anxiety that marijuana helps with significantly. Hopefully it, along with my prescription medications, will help me to be in a good state of mind. :-)

They think I haven't been job searching- when I actually used their website to do the searching. I plan to call them tomorrow. Still no word about the job training, and still no word about my getting tested for Asperger's.

So quick question. I can't be the only one having the problem of whenever I make a post, I can't scroll or move around on the site anymore? The only option I have is the close the tab/window I'm working with. I can't be the only one having this problem.

Lucky me, I only had to buy two books for classes this quarter! The rest were either available on reserve from the library or I was able to pirate them. I love beating the system. #fucktextbookprices

I'm not really sure how I could make it look nicer. Maybe I could redraw it on my own. I did not draw this, I simply found it online.

Doesn't look like anyone else is having that problem - though I'm not quite clear on what the issue is myself. Are you unable to scroll by any method (mouse wheel, up/down arrow keys, page up/down keys, clicking and dragging the scroll bar, etc.) after you make a post?

I'm not able to move around the page at all. Can't move. The only thing I can do is exit out of this page if it's in a window or a tab.
