Probably not going to be joining this one, I'm really busy. Maybe I could get out a quick one in like 3 days... Edit: Can I also get to encourage people that haven't voted for the previous MotF poll to go do that? Only 6 people was voted so far... And if the current score stays, I won't be the winner! Ah, I keep forgetting about the voting threads! I really should bump them more often. Unfortunately the one for MotF 133 has just closed with only 6 votes.

I humbly accept this lackluster victory for what was truely a rather boring map which only barely stayed within the confines of the contest.

Tch, don't be so modest - the idea behind your map was pretty interesting to me, and I liked the detailed background. Anyway, I'll try and get the proper victory announcement done later this week. So, what challenges do you all want to see for MotF 134? Please feel free to post any and every new challenge idea you have - whether it's fully formed or not - and resuggest any old idea from within this thread or this list on the Wiki. Don't be afraid to join in and state your opinions (positive or negative) on as many different challenge suggestions as you like!

Here are a few old challenges we could run, including some challenges we've done before that might be interesting to run again. Let me know if you like the sound of any of them, and please feel free to post your own ideas if you have any!

Well I finally finished up my basemap for the MOTF, only to realise that that I couldn't recall the meaning of the random statelets I'd drawn in, thus rendering them pointless!
Also I don't think I could come up with anything for any of those options. Besides which I've a few other projects which I've been meaning to finish, so I may sit the next contest out.

Since I've been reading Othello for a class I'd love Over Mountain, Plain, and Sea and see if I can't make a little Venetian AH map.

The Pilgrimage! It was the first MotF round on AH.com where I was happy with my entry and kept it and it'd be fun to revisit that topic again (though probably not my particular entry back then xD)

I like the looks of The Pilgrimage: Make a map showing a pilgrimage route and/or the holy sites of a certain religion. and Over a Mountain, Plain, and Sea: Make a map showing a major trade route. Slight advantage to The Pilgrimage

Is anyone else entering? I would have mine in by now but I'm finding it difficult to enter text on gimp, so I'm gonna write them in with a marker... which I can't find.

If you need help, you can send it to me and I'll have a go with it, than I'll send it back Are you trying to get text on curve? If you are, that's always a pain with GIMP and I recommend just using Inkscape for that In other news, it's the saturday before MotF submission need to be in already? Wow, how time flies.

It's Sunday for me, but we've yet to have any entries! Do people need an extension, or do you all think you can get your entries in within the next 24 hours?

24 hours should do me, I stole a marker from work!
Though it occurred to me that a clear plastic would be really useful too.
edit: To Tesco!

I'm writing the description for it now! God man give it time!!!! Sorry - it's about the time I usually post the new threads, and the lack of entries got me worried. Nice entry! Though unfortunately we need a minimum of two to have a valid contest, so unless another map is entered overnight I'll be extending this round by a week in the morning.

So Krall has anyone else said they're entering? iserlohn said they would earlier in the thread, but since their map hasn't been entered yet I'll be extending this round by a week. I'll edit the thread to make the extension "official" later today.

The entry period for MotF 134: The Badlands has been extended. It shall now end when the voting thread is posted on the 24th of April.Since I've got time now, I'm thinking about throwing together a quick map for this round. If nothing else it'll mean I won't have to extend it again.

My entry sadly won't happen. Lost all interest in it and don't have a good idea for a replacement. Sorry.
