President John Adams (F-MA): After four years of a successful presidency, and helping end the Northwest Indian War and helping to build the economy up, John Adams is running again under the Federalist party. Many anticipate him to win in a relatively close race between himself and the newly renamed Republican Party, and their elected candidate. Adams hopes to continue his economic plans and help build trade with the various nations across the world to help pay off the economic debt.
Former Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson (R-VA): It came to a shock of many at the complete renovation of the Anti-Federalist party to the now fully named Republican Party. Led by one Thomas Jefferson, along with a young James Madison, former Vice-President George Clinton, Senator Aaron Burr, and the famous American patriot Samuel Adams. Jefferson hopes to build the US internally and focus on the agrarian and common man and fixing the issues in the US before expanding, and acknowledging the existence and revolution in France. Instead of denouncing it as Adams had done, to stay on the British's good side. Jefferson hopes to keep the inalienable rights intact to the common US citizen, and too focus more on building the states.

Hmm, I guess someone changed their vote last minute. What kind of criteria are people actually voting based on, out of interest?

What kind of criteria are people actually voting based on, out of interest? Well, for me, Lightning made it sound like we'd eventually get to make our own characters and try to maneuver them into positions of power, and I'm voting based on what my character-concept would vote, so mostly anti-federalist/ Jeffersonian Democrat. I'm not sure if we are going to get our own characters eventually, if that's been taken out, or if that's just a massive goof on my part.

From the OP it does sound like we can make up news stories, images, characters, etc. I've yet to do that, I guess mainly because lynx hasn't told us how we'd go about doing that - like where we'd post them, what control we have over "canon" when writing, whether characters need his approval, and so forth.

Yes. I'll try and get a format or template for player characters up soon. I wanted to hold off a bit on player characters coming in so I could get the hang of running this type of game. Plus I have the points scale on the main page. Plus I was also holding back player characters for a while to make it more, historical, per say. As around I want to say the 1810s? is when the pseudo American born politicians began popping up more and more.
