1580-1589
Europe
- The Duchy of Brandenburg swallows a few of the smaller German duchies during a time when Austria and Burgundy's attention is focused away on something more pressing. Brandenburg quickly adopts the teachings of Martin Luther (Lutheranism) and promotes it to the duchy's official religion.
- The combined forces of Burgundy, Austria, and Hungary are able to push back against an Ottoman invasion. The Ottoman invasion was an attempt to eliminate the Venetians from power in the Mediterranean, however the plan backfired after the Holy Roman Empire deduced at how threatening an Ottoman victory would be. The Austrians and Hungarians earned portions of Ottoman lands in their victory over the large empire.
- Muscovy fully annexes its smaller protectorate to the south of its borders and fully defeats the remnants of the Crimean Khanate in a three year war.
Asia
- The Safavid after a long six year war with its southern counter part fully unite Persia under Persian rule once again. Its presence in the Middle East and Central Asia make it a considerable threat to both the Ottomans and Delhi Sultanate
- Whilst North Yuan-Chagatai Khanate continues to grow after a successful decade, a young ruler tries to test his luck again by invading Ming China, however his attempts are not as fruitful as his predecessor. Whilst the eastern theater is proven to be a standstill, the khanate loses a significant amount of land in the west, due to having their forces focused on invading the eastern to end the war quickly.
Africa
- Castile-Portugal lays claim to the Ivory Islands to prevent the Moroccans from gaining an advantage in the colonization war, they are having.
- Morocco and the Mamaluks influence in Africa continues to grow, whilst the Ethiopians and Egyptian tensions further due to the two nations borders reaching closer to one another
Americas
