To anyone who's played Tropico, the idea will be fairly familiar. To anyone who hasn't, I recommend watching this brief trailer:
Anywho, the name of the game is a govsim (government simulator), except nowhere near as serious as I usually run them - this is going to be a little more over-the-top comedic. If you've been playing Balance of Power, you'll probably be okay - you get credits each turn and spend them to do actions, some of which cost credits but some which don't. The general rule is if you're utilising something you already have it's free, otherwise it'll cost something. There's no actions list, it's entirely free form - if you can think of something, you can probably do it! Or try, at least
There's a whole bunch of spaces, from political parties (ranging from conservatives to communists and including the deposed party of El Presidente), the minister of defence (aka head of the army), generals, police chiefs, a United Fruit analogue, and so on.
We're looking for about 10 ish players, post here to sign up, stats are pastebinned here: pastebin.com/2cf42xBp

Welcome, not to Tropico, but to San Drogon - a small group of islands in the Caribbean. The year is 1961, and El President's vile regime has just been overthrown - democracy returns to San Drogon! Or at least, it will do soon! For now a coalition of the various parties and bodies that have liberated the island has taken control in a provisional government - and who knows how long that will last.
I'm sure island life will suit you just fine, all the same! Come, see the sights! The wonderful beaches... the lush green plantations... the impoverished farmhands... the choleric hospitals... the guerilla-filled jungles... what a beautiful country! And who knows? Maybe one day, all this can be yours...
