I'm tried it a couple of times but get timed out on the link. May be just my machine, which is a bit old but is anyone else having problems or is it just me?
Hmm, I checked on my phone and it worked, but I reuploaded it here. imgur.com/a/3e7dXS7
OK thanks. That is a fragmented world in a number of places. Not just but most noticeably in Africa.

A small alternate history scenario where World War One begins to turn in favour of the germans when it acquires new puppet states in the east. The flood of manpower and resources begins to pour into germany aiding the war in the west. Originally created for the Map of the Fortnight Contest. The Ukrainians are certainly going to be much better off in this TL than they were in our TL.
That Belarusian salient is ugly, though. Plus, it could make both Ukraine and the Baltic states vulnerable to a future Soviet invasion.

For what it's worth, I myself am unfortunately not very good at making maps and thus prefer to comment on other people's maps than to make my own maps. I really like maps and can memorize them very well (for instance, I can draw a map of Europe on a blank piece of paper), but I am simply not good at making perfectly polished online maps.

Double cross-posting between the MotF thread and my WBaT thread because honestly I think this is one of my better maps I think that you might be too pessimistic in regards to the spread of the French language in this TL. After all, if Occitan and Breton would largely die out under French rule, I don't see why, say, Dutch or Italian would have avoided a similar fate in France in this TL.

Cross-posting from my TL, because I'm really proud of this map. What are the parties' platforms? The United Republican Party has no consistent platform besides "be a republic." The various regional Republican Parties are much the same way, and basically only exist because the old pro-republican conspiracy wasn't able to make much ground there before the death of Alexander III. The regional Republican Parties will likely join the with the UPR. The Seperatists, as the name implies, don't want to be part of the Russian Republic (I mean, it is the Russian Republic after all). Some are Monarchist, some are republican. There also illegal, underground Monarchist parties that want either the pretender Peter or the pretender Nicholas on the throne of Russia. All in all, it's a question of what government Russia wants right now, and the rest can be figured out after the war is over.

It'd be really hard to culture convert everyone without getting them super pissed off. France may have the army to take down rebellion, but if a civil war or civil war-lite were to break out, things would start collapsing. France is fine with a much slower process of cultural integration.

Alternate History Scenario where Francis II of France survives and marries Queen Mary of Scotland. UNION OF FRANCE AND SCOTLAND --------------------------- The Union of France and Scotland was attributed to the marriage of Queen Mary of the Scots, to King Francis II of France. Their heir King Henri III de Valois inherited the throne of France at age 24 in 1586, and subsequently the throne of Scotland when his mother died in 1602. Under Henri's leadership the Acte d'Union was enacted leading to the union of the two crowns into the United Kingdom of France and Scotland. Under Henri's rule the Viscounty of Bearn, and County of Foix were reconquered. He was known to yeild lands to nobles in Scotland and France in order to attempt to contain the protestant revolutionaries that had plagued his nation for two generations. At the end of his reign the Auld Union would become the de facto name for the United Kingdom; coined by Scottish poet Malcolm of Fyfe. France would fight two major wars with the Kingdom of England during Henri's reign over the sovreignty of Scotland, and the noble revolt of Scotland which was supported by the English crown. The Edicts of Evreux were passed by Henri who hoped to bring peace to his religious civil war between Protestants and Catholics. Although the Edits had success at first, ultimately they lead to the evication of protestants from France and Scotland by Royal Decree in 1623. Notes: I wanted to originally do this as a topographic map, but it would take forever. Sorry for use of Wiki Elements in arms. Amazing map! BTW, this TL's United Kingdom might be interested in liberating Catholic Ireland from English rule. After all, as Catholics, they would surely have sympathy for the Catholic Irish who are suffering under the yoke of Protestant English imperialism.

So, it's a map from the early 20th century? Yeah, at exactly 1900. If it was from ~2000, I would agree that the Netherlands and all at that would be majority French (with some non-French pockets here and there)

I do intent for probably 2 more parts (although I have said I will make a larger series of stuff before, just to never finish). This was also my attempt on having softer colors. For those wondering, green areas next to UAC areas are the Muslim-Algerian owned parts of the rest of their respective cities Does the UAC become an Algerian version of Hong Kong?

I suppose I shall re-post my most recent map on here
Map of the short lived Peru-Bolivia Confederation (1836–1839) For more information: Peru-Bolivia Confederation 3 States: ------------------------- North Peru (Capital: Lima) South Peru (Capital: Tacna) Bolivia (Capital: La Paz) Has a land swap with Brazil to straighten out the border ever been considered in this TL?

Finished my retrofuture map, that projects forwards the trends and prognostications of the 2010s to 2050. Of course, in reality I predict less action than seen in this map, but I had to go ham a little to make things interesting. imgur.com/a/FUonT5m

Also, if Russia acquires Belarus without the consent of its population, expect to see crippling sanctions against Russia. Haha, I knew there were a few things I forgot to mention. The Uzbekistan-wank is a prediction by Peter Zeihan (former Stratfor analyst). Decades of cotton monoculture have deleted the Aral Sea and compromised the Central Asian water supplies, so things are going to get ugly as the powers that be fight for the water that remains. Uzbekistan is by far the big dog in the region, and can also leverage diasporan Uzbek communities to become even bigger. The intradiegetic reason for the partition is that China took a part of Kyrgyzstan to secure land for building pipelines and infrastructure, as well as interdict terrorist supply lines to Xinjiang. The extradiegetic reason is that I like to wank China. The Belarus annexation was mutually consensual, although it's questionable how much Belarusian popular buy-in the decision had.

Does Uzbekistan annex northern Afghanistan in order to protect the Uzbeks there from the Taliban? Also, I don't think that Lukashenko would want to be a provincial governor in Russia. He was only interested in the idea of a Russian-Belarusian union back in the 1990s when he thought that he could eventually become the leader of this union state after Yeltsin left office. Putin's rise ensured that Lukashenko would not have the opportunity to be the leader of this union state--which is why Lukashenko began cooling to this idea afterwards.

Well, might as well post something from my DeviantArt: Point of Divergence: Britain does not curtail Jewish migration into Palestine and instead encourages it with greater zeal than before. (This is part of a broader post-1806/1815 world where France was in the Central Powers instead of Germany, who ITTL allies with Russia and Britain) In the aftermath of the First Great War, the British Empire inherited portions of the former Ottoman Empire that had fought in the Central Powers (along with France and Austria-Hungary). One of these territories was Palestine, a tiny patch of land that Christians, Jews, and Muslims hold sacred for countless millenia. The British government had some plans for Palestine, most notable was the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which would provide a "national home" for the Jewish people, who for years have been coming to the region in droves. Driven by the Zionist call to establish a Jewish homeland in their ancient home, these settlers nevertheless drew tensions amongst the Arabs already living there. This culminated in several Arab revolts which were put down by the British government, and only led to the government's (with the German Empire's backing) encouragement of more Jewish migration to (hopefully) stabilize the situation. With the rise of the fascist French government in 1933, Jewish immigration to Palestine increased even more, so that by the time war broke out once more in the continent inn 1939, the population was evenly split, with the Jews well on their way to becoming the majority by 1945 as more and more Jews fled the anti-semitic Nasis in Paris (this ensured that 2-3 million Jews were killed during this world's equivalent of the Holocaust). By the time the new United Nations decided on a course for partition in 1948, Jews had become a majority, ensuring they would get the lion's share of the territory. It was an agreement that the Arab powers of Egypt, Transjordan, and Syria were unwilling to ever accept. For nine months, the Israelis held on, depsite overwhelming odds. However, bad judgements on the part of the Arab powers ensured that not only would the new State of Israel would grab not only all of Palestine, but in a blitzkreig movement, seize the Sinai peninsula, the Golan Heights, and even some of the areas east of the Jordan River. The War of Independence (which was an Arab defeat so large that they dubbed it an-Nakba aka "the Catastrophe") would lead to drastic changes to the Middle East, which are still being felt today. Though the issue of Islamist terrorism in the Sinai and the East Palestinian claims to all of the former mandate continue to surface, Israel's fortunes as one of the players shaping the Middle East remains as bright as ever. What's the population of this Mega-Israel?

Yes, Uzbekistan annexed the part of Afghanistan where the Uzbek diaspora is situated, with the ostensible motive of protecting them from Pashtun and Islamist hardliners. Interesting, I didn't know that about Lukashenko haha. When I was planning the map, I just had more general ideas about Russian intelligence using a combination of bribes and strongarming to get Belarusian elites to favor annexation.
