For some reason it was not rezizing, but here you go: Ever since the end of the second world war, there were three competing power blocs. The Alliance of Nations, a loose coalition of Britain and France, often at odds with each other. The Comintern, headed by the USSR, that gained significant sway in Africa and Asia, and the Rome Accord, headed by Balbo's Italy. The Rome Accord aided the AoN in WWII and received considerable territories in the Balkans from Germany and it's allies there. These territories also included allied recognition of Italian East Africa and the fleeing of Haile Selassie to America. After years of oppression under the Italian boot, the East Africans were fed up. With no support from the west, they turned to the east. Arms and money flowed from Moscow, making the January 21 Revolution possible. Based from the rural farmers in the Tigray and Amhara regions, the communist rebels gained ground quickly from the unpopular regime. The only region Italian rule was popular in was Eritrea and significant amounts of Eritreans signed up into the Italian army. Raging for years, the war quickly was more between the Comintern and the Rome Accord, with troops from South Africa also aiding the Italians. In the end, the war killed over a million Ethiopians, Somalis, Eritreans, Italians and South Africans. The signing of peace with Italy leaving East Africa discredited the Rome Accord heavily, and paved the way for the June 3rd Movement to organize in a few years.

The concept: The Russian seperatists in eastern Ukraine managed to break through and overrun the Ukrainian army in 2017, basicly making Ukraine a Russian puppet, having this achived Russia started to support some anti-EU and anti-NATO groups in Poland, which in 2018 rose up and started a civil war, where the Polish army supported by the US and the rest of NATO is fighting against the Russian rebels supported by Russia.

Thought I'd throw my map into the mix. A perfect excuse to finally finish this.
