What would the peace look like if the 13 Colonies would have somehow won an early victory in the American War of Independence?

It seems unlikely but would depend on the circumstances. Until the French especially commit heavily the rebels are very short on supplies, especially weapons and also gold to pay the soldiers and for supplies. Also it was a couple of years before the war reached the southern colonies to any degree while before the crushing of the Indians in ~1779 I think it was much of upper New York state was under their and loyalist control.
As such if for any reason a markedly earlier ending of the war with some sort of independent state emerging its likely to be significantly smaller, both in terms of fewer colonies and also being confined largely to the coastal regions. Which could make for a radically different world.

Agreed that an early victory for the 13 colonies likely requires an earlier French entry into the war.
Also, which colonies do you think are going to remain under British rule in this scenario?
In addition to this, what do you think is going to happen to the territories west of the Appalachians if Britain will keep these territories? Are these territories going to have much less White settlement?
