Does that site still exist. I don't have the original link (don't know if it's still up), but www.dalecozort.com/ seems to have most of the scenarios. It looks like it's his official site at the moment. Thanks for the link.

My first real AH was the WorldWar series; from there I went to TL-191, the Guns of the South, the Man with an Iron Heart, and many others.

First AH I read: Robert Conroy's "1901". First AH I created: a timeline for Chuck Perritt's Othertimelines.com exploring the results of a successful July 20th bombing.

First AH I read: Robert Conroy's "1901". Like his writing, to bad he is no longer among us.

Like quite a few people here I think Red Alert was my earliest exposure to the genre, though I didn't think of alternate history as a genre or recognise RA as such at the time. The first alternate history thing that I recognised as part of a distinct genre and served as my gateway into the genre was Ill Bethisad; a collaborative AH world-building project mainly focused on a more Romanised British Isles. I don't know how I found Ill Bethisad though - I guess just by randomly looking at history stuff on Wikipedia.
