Empires A 1800 Map Game 1800 would be the year where everything changed. In Europe, Napoleon had unified the French and had replaced the once unstable republic into a Strong, Able Dictatorship, however, Napoleon now fought against the rest of Europe so his grand French empire could expand east into the rest of Europe. And Now Napoleon Had been chased from Italy and Syria, however, he had been able to force Russia out of the coalition and Now would begin new strategies to scare off both German, British, and Italians from the coalition. Meanwhile, in the Americas, the United States had begun to look hungrily at the west, with the hopes of in one way or another expanding into the west, although the nation deals with a political "war" between pro-Adams Federalists and a coalition of both Anti-Adams Federalists and Republicans. And south of the republic small murmurs have begun about the Independence of the multiple colonies under european rule, especially as they are currently occupied by Napoleon. Welcome to Empires: A 1800 Map Game. A Map game, for those of you who have never played one, is a game where each player claims one year, makes a map of the world that year and then makes a summary of what has happened that year in each continent. We will Be beginning in 1800, using the map above from the alternatehistory.com wiki, and was made on the Alternatehistory.com Forum. A few rules before we begin: 1. No ASB 2. Don't be implausible 3. Don't be a dick Otherwise, we're all set to begin, I claim the first turn. Attachments:

Ah, one small quibble. There may be some signs of unrest in Spanish America but this only really became significant after the French occupation of Spain and deposing of the Bourbon dynasty, which didn't happen until 1807 IIRC. I don't think France controls any extra-European colonies apart from possibly some of the Dutch ones. If anything, before they returned them in the treaty of Ameins, Britain had possession of assorted Dutch and French colonies. Sounds very interesting but I totally lack skill with maps and don't have much time at the moment so I would watch with interest but wouldn't be a player. Best of luck with the game.

I've always been a bit confused about that.
