Saw London Has Fallen... Hits a bit too close to home there... I just love at the ending (spoilers: the good guys win) they say "London has fallen, but it's picking itself back up," You know, no mention of the economic plummet that would inevitably happen in this scenerio Bad enough there was the economic crash caused by the Brexit referendum, then a massive terrorist attack against Britain's most important city? Have fun falling from a 1st to 2nd world country there

Have fun falling from a 1st to 2nd world country there Action movies hardly ever go into the ramifications of their chaos. For example, Independence Day would most likely have ended with the extinction of life on Earth.

Perhaps we could do a TL based on it? (Of course I am still in the planning phases of my TL based on "Special Bulletin" or a nuclear attack on the London opening ceremonies.)

Saw the Secret Life of Pets. While not the best animated movie of the year (that right still currently holds to Zootopia, which is really amazing and I urge all of you to check out).
I have 2 and a half qualms with this movie. The first is that the 2 main characters, Max and Duke, are kind of meh characters. The second is that the main story is also kind of meh. The half qualm is that I noticed product placement everywhere (but it's not blatantly obvious product placement and most of the time fairly suits the environment, but it's still noticeable).
Those qualms are easily made up for by just about everything else. The side characters are amazing, the side plots are amazing (I'm only calling those that because they're not the main focus). Gidgit is easily my favorite, and is played by the women who did Assistant Mayor Bellewhether in Zootopia, except that this movie knew exactly what to do with her while in Zootopia she was the only meh character.

So apparently a reboot of MacGyver is in the works, and this time MacGyver is played by (and likely is going to be) a Texan... Oh, my heart burns with anger... A holy icon of the Minnesotan trinity, played by an actor who went to my very high school, is going to be played by a Texan...

Well, I got my financial aid cut and got purged from the registration for Fall because I apparently did not sign some form which I heard nothing about. I am trying to contact my advisor, but she is out of the office until an unknown time this coming week. Meanwhile, I am scheduled for work several days in the morning- giving me little to no time to get to school (especially with parents wanting me to do mowing in the morning)- including a day where I am scheduled in conflict with my own wishes and my CAP meeting. Not happy at all in slightest.
