Seeing as how the Commonwealth of Progressives and Generic Nice Things (can't remember the full name) is up, might as well transfer this over here, too.

I'd like to join, and, if I was A: an American and B: several years older, I would vote Rubio in 2016.

In any case, I know that people are predicting a legislative rout for the Republican Party come November, but I'm optimistic that we can keep control of the House and Senate.
I'm less optimistic about the Presidency. Clinton is too entrenched. The big danger here is that due to Clinton, the leftists will take the Supreme Court, and an interventionist court is a conservative nightmare.
If we lose both the Executive and Legislative arenas, then we have no way to stop the excesses of the Left, and we'll be on the fast track to becoming France, at least until the inevitable conservative backlash.

Conservative in foreign policy.
*scratches head
I'm not very well pleased by the whole lack of emphasis on foreign policy in the GOP. It's like all the GOP can offer are idiots and focusing on domestic issues. There isn't any emphasis on what has been associated with the GOP (i.e. the military) and - it's not good. I'd like to believe in a responsible opposition party that does follow up on tradition and what the US has been associated in foreign policy.

Just supplies and assistance to rebels, or invasions to get rid of undesirable regimes.

Just supplies and assistance to the rebels that should have won. Then maybe accept some refugees. Just something to the effect that the US stands for something like what Canada is doing now - somewhere in the middle of the road of a trusted policeman - not the one that sits on a rock and is suddenly aware that terrorism is spreading like wildfire and lets Europe shuts its borders to migrants. Something along those lines.

Voted straight Republican since 2008, planning to vote Cruz this election. I can't wait to see my leftist radical union thug neighbor come unglued when I put Cruz signs on my lawn

Quick question to GOP supporters: assuming he wins the nomination, will you vote for Donald Trump, abstain, or vote third party?

And Trump has the nomination. I was rooting for Kasich, and voted for him in the Virginia primaries.
I guess I'm voting Johnson/Weld.
