Krall, would something like the Moravian Compromise of 1905 fit the requirements? To be brief, the Landtag was divided into a German caucus and a Czech caucus and both had different sets of constituencies not matching each other at all. German is outlined, Czech is colored.

German is outlined, Czech is colored. That would count - it's not the exact intention of the challenge, but it does technically aim to help a specific demographic group (it just doesn't do that at the expense of other groups) so it does count.

I've just started on my entry for this round - be on the look out for a gerrymandered Christian Japanese republic. Has anyone else started on their entry yet?

The votes have been in for MotF 131 for a while now, so here are the announcements! And the winner is... Iserlohn -Honoured Victory-
Iserlohn's great entry for this round was a propaganda map, showing the apparent plans of Nazi Germany for the British Empire should they win. Simple, yet clean and stylish, this map is certainly worthy of this victory. Well done, Iserlohn!
kaiserinbecca -Honourable Mention for High Popularity-
Though it took only 35 minutes to make, becca's entry for this round - depicting a rump Pennsylvania after a fracturing of the USA - was nonetheless interesting and pleasing to the eye. Well done! Also, it's well past time to talk about what challenges we'd like to see for MotF 133! So please let me know which challenges you like the looks of from within this thread or from the Wiki list (which is down at the moment, unfortunately), and/or post any new ideas for challenges you have! Remember you can support as many challenge suggestions as you like, and you don't need to have been involved in the contest at all to take part in choosing the next challenge.

Here are the challenges I suggested last time (minus the one that was chosen) - let me know what you think, and if there are any other ideas you'd like to see!

I guess I will try to do something for this. Ah, awesome! I'd love to see what you come up with! The deadline's this Sunday so, unless there's an extension, you may have to work quickly.

Maybe something in the same universe as my Gulf War.

"World Police Make a map showing a regional conflict or its aftermath where a superpower or world-spanning empire has militarily intervened"
is interesting, one I might finally submit after so long, since I actually have an idea for if the USA never rose to power, but rather Mexico did

Doesn't look like I'll be able to get an entry done on time as I need to get my entry for the MotF 107 Map Duel done by this Sunday (me and the other people in the duel agreed on this Sunday as a deadline, so we could finally get it over with). How many of you are planning to entry this round? And what challenges would you like to see for MotF 133? The Wiki's back up so you can check out old suggestions from the Wiki list again.

Who's still planning on entering MotF 132? It's getting quite close to the deadline and we've yet to have an entry. Would anyone benefit from an extension?

I've had a couple of other people state they'd like an extension over Skype, so I shall be extending the current round.
The entry period for MotF 132: Gerry's Salamander has been extended. It shall now end when the voting thread is posted on the 20th of March.

World Police takes my vote Could you please embolden the title of any challenge suggestion? It makes it easier for me to see which one's popular at a glance (though that's not that difficult considering how inactive this thread seems to be).

I'm very tired right now, so apologies if this post isn't particularly coherent. I've finally gotten my entry in for MotF 132, which means the round can close with the minimum two entries. The new threads will be up later today, and the challenge for MotF 133 will be World Police, so feel free to start planning/making your entries for that challenge.
