Hey guys, so I figured it might be useful if we could use IRC to chat, in addition to the chatbox below. Mostly because it's slow, you need to reload it, and it's more like making a temporary, really short forum post than having an actual conversation. So for those of you who don't know, IRC is Internet Relay Chat. It's basically like an instant messenger, except without account creating, tracking cookies, ads everywhere, and all that other junk. It's also crazy easy to use. IRC's the kind of thing you can leave open in a tab or a separate window all day and drop in whenever, or repeatedly check and chat with people in. Some alhistoria folks have visited before, so I figured I'd offer the channel where I'm an op(erator) as a place for people to hang out. There's usually someone in there all hours of the day, though obviously it's more active at some hours than others Anyway, here's how you can check it out: If you wanna keep it simple, you can use mibbit, which is a browser-based client. Simply click this link: mibbit.com/#molotov@irc.irchighway.netIf you've used IRC before, or want a better client, you can use chatzilla (add-on for Firefox), or HexChat (downloadable for Windows and Linux) really easily. The server is irc.irchighway.net, and the channel is #molotov. Everyone welcome, drop by any time.

Any time! I got too use to chatzilla, the one time I had to use Chrome at length because Firefox was playing silly buggers I could never find a client that I liked best, but Byrd was one of the main contenders!
As I've said, it's a great tool for building the community and encouraging actual conversations and casual chatting. Could really be a great resource from this community.
