I just realized this site didn't have a GoT thread yet. I'm not sure how it's possible, but here it is being created now.
Probably best to only discuss Seasons 5 and before to avoid spoilers (or at least give everyone a week to watch the newest episode)
Anyways, wasn't that *spoilers* amazing! They were like *spoilers* and he suddenly *spoilers* it was so awesome!
edit: oh, apparently we do and it just hasn't been touched since December (and is in the wrong category)

I gave up on GoT, GRRM will die before TWOW comes out because he is old and obese. Currently looking for new series.
Season 5 doesn't look bad though. Lots of blood and breasts, the hallmarks of good media.

Sunday's episode. Oh man... I'm not going to spoil anything for anyone who's behind, but oh man that was satisfying... Nice little meme (potential spoilers): (insert "Why not both" meme here)

Burning Shireen worked. It's just that Melisandre picked the wrong Azor Ahai. The real one was Jon, and that's why he became immune to arrows and lances throughout the fight.
Though I stand by what I said earlier on Reddit: it would have been better if R'hllor gave Stannis a Balrog in exchange for Shireen.
Hell, I'd happily kill one of my close relatives in exchange for a Balrog.

Favorite Characters everyone?
My personal is Tyrion, 4 feet of pure awesome. Second is Little Finger. I can't help but to love him, despite what he did to Sansa in Season 5 (or was it late 4?)

It depends on the show and the books. In the show, it's far and away Tyrion. Even though season 6 Tyrion has been, well, kinda lame he's still great and I am in love with his whole character arc. So great. In the books, though, it's Stannis. I find him fascinating because he is a man of such strong and unwavering ideals but also flexible enough for pragmatism that he's practically weaponized honor. I anticipate that in the books he's going to take Winterfell in The Winds of Winter and that he's going to be much better than the bastardization in the show.

Seriously, I really want to talk about this episode, so I'm declaring this a spoiler thread (or, at the very least, a spoiler post). Those not caught up, you probably shouldn't be reading this.
Spoilers (seriously though, so many spoilers) ------------------------------------ Everything the show (not necessarily the books) have been built up is coming. Winter is Coming, Daenerys travels across the sea to Westeros at last, Cersei is Queen of Westeros, Jon Snow is officially Jon Stark and is King of the North, and the Starks are are taking their revenge. Everything is coming together once and for all next Season.
Oh, how happy I was to see that High Sparrow get blown to pieces, even though it cost the lives of so many innocent, Noble and Peasant. But, through that very act, Cersei has cemented herself as the last great human villain of this show. (Maybe also that women who rules Dorne now, I really hate her)
Speaking of villains getting what's coming to them, boy was it great to see Arya kill Walder Frey, oh how glorious.
Now, please prepare yourself, Memes are coming. The Starks send their regards.

I think that the season finale was amazing but two questions: How is Cersei going to rule now that she has killed her allies and political advisors? And if Ellaria bungled her murder plot against Myrcella and Myrcella didn't die, would Cersei still seize the Iron Throne for herself or would Myrcella be her puppet queen now?

How is Cersei going to rule? Terribly. There's probably only 7 episodes left in the series, and she definitely isn't going to survive them. I even bet it'll be Jaime 'Kingslayer' Lannister that's going to plunge a sword into her heart. I bet if Myrcella didn't die, she would take the throne. The only reason Cersei is taking it is because there's not really anyone left to take it. All the Baratheons (that they know about) are dead, the only thing left is to hand the throne to the old king's wife (the one that isn't a 'traitor,' nor the one who went boom in the church)

Probably. For the most part that's what Tommen was before he sided with the Church. Cersei would make sure that couldn't happen again.

Via putting her under virtual house arrest with the (undead) Mountain being assigned to guard her "for the Queen's personal security" (read: make sure that she is Cersei's good puppet), right?

If GRRM is not long for this world, They might as well let the TV series beat the novels in completing the story.

Is it me or because Jaime Lannister, as a member of the Kingsguard, cannot inherit titles, the Iron Throne and leadership of House Lannister goes to a certain Lyman Lannister if something bad happens to Cersei before Daenarys (or Littlefinger) takes over Kings Landing?

I don't think the game is canon.
