President George Washington (I-VA): The incumbent is looking to secure a second term, though has remained relatively calm during the election periods. Perfectly content with either being reelected or being replaced with someone new. Washington's presidency has been running swimmingly, thanks to a well built cabinet helping him move his plans forward, and the ability to help build the young country up. His popularity still remains as high as ever and his approval ratings as well remain just as high as he began. His economic plans set forth, with the aid of his cabinet have helped set up the US economy to help pay off its debts in the future.
Vice President John Adams (F-MA): The first Federalist candidate, and first vice-president is on the campaign trail yet again. He, alongside John Jay and Alexander Hamilton have helped rebuild the once named Pro-Administration faction to the now Federalist party, though still holding the same beliefs as they did before their renaming. A strong centralized government, and a focus on building relations with Great Britain. He has been criticized for his detest for the French Revolution, and has been called hypocritical for insulting another young republic.
Governor George Clinton (AF-NY): On the other hand, many are polling for George Clinton to make a strong run in this upcoming election. Known for his detest for the six week Vermont War back in early 1790, which led to the then Anti-Administration faction achieving a landslide victory in congress back in 1790. Now running under the now dubbed Anti-Federalist party, the parties ideals and focus are still the same as before hand. Clinton and his other Anti-Federalist, including Thomas Jefferson have come out in support of the French Republic, and fits with their policy of strengthening French relations.
