Could France be "Punked" in a Hot NATO-WARPAC war? Oct 25, 2016 5:23:53 GMT

Basically, the assumption was that France would use nuked to prevent the Soviets from invading France proper, after losing Germany. What if France decided to not use nukes and allows the Soviets to invade France? Could France plausibly refuse to use nuclear weapons? Could NATO in general do so, especially say if it's a "7 days to the rhine" situation (i.e. Soviets dont invade France, but conquer Germany and Austria). What happens than?
