Would people like to see that challenge rerun for MotF 131? Ah yes, that was it. It was a good one if I remember correctly. Has the MotF not started doing re-runs yet? Certainly I wouldn't mind, there's enough talent on here that we could see some nice new takes on older ideas.

Maybe if we rerun Ministry of Truth it could be renamed Our Rightful Realm

Certainly I wouldn't mind, there's enough talent on here that we could see some nice new takes on older ideas. We've done several reruns before, so there is precedent! Maybe if we rerun Ministry of Truth it could be renamed Our Rightful RealmIt certainly could - I do prefer to run reruns under new names rather than just putting "2" after the original title.

So would people like to see a rerun of " The Ministry of Truth"? Remember you can post any new challenge ideas you have, and repost ideas you liked from earlier in this thread or from the Wiki list, and you're not restricted to supporting just one challenge idea - you can express your support (or lack thereof) for as many challenges as you like!

I've decided that I too shall be taking part in the competition, more out of a worry that there won't be many entries rather than any desire to win. I'm currently 1/3 of the way done with my entry. I'm happy with rerunning Ministry of Truth, though I've no ideas what my entry will be yet. I really like the look of Always the Bridesmaid and Back to the Future. To be honest a couple of the proposed contests from the Wiki sound like old ideas that I started and abandoned, dare say I could have an entry for everyone if I cleaned out my hard drive

My first Afghanistan map was like that - I'd actually started it for a previous MotF round. And feel free to support challenges even if you don't know what you'd enter or even if you don't plan on entering. It's entirely okay to just support challenges because you like the look of them, or because you'd like to see what other people enter for it!

Welp, I just realised that I put the wrong deadline date in the entry thread - it's meant to be the 24th instead of the 31st! D:
However, having talked with some people who are planning on entering, it seems people were banking on the deadline being the 31st, so I'm extending the current round by a week so the deadline is correctly and officially the 31st. So, no change really. Sorry about that.

Jesus don't scare us like that! I'm already bad enough with deadlines, nevermind reduced deadlines!

Another suggestion:
Let Others Wage War (You Marry): Make a map depicting a state that expanded through strategic marriages rather than war.

5 more days until my unconditional victory There are other people working on entries you know. (Also if a MotF round only has one entry that entry doesn't win by default - instead the round is declared void with no winner. 2 is the *absolute minimum* number of entries needed for a round to go on as normal.)

Krall are you submitting an entry this week? I think you might be the only one with a decent understanding of image editing, so if the folks on here vote like they did on AH.com then it'll basically be the Prettiest Map Contest and it'll probably go to you:P

Hmmmmm shall I enter this round? How much time have I got left? About a day and a half - so most likely not enough time to make an entry from scratch, I'm afraid. Feel free to try if you want, though! Speaking of this round ending, are people okay with me rerunning " The Ministry of Truth" for MotF 131, or are there other challenge suggestions you would prefer?

I was intending to finish my entry today/tomorrow however I got a call from work and I won't have time to work on it tomorrow. My own fault for disregarding the deadline.
So I shamefully retract my entry. Maybe next time.

Alright, " The Ministry of Truth" shall be the challenge for MotF 131, under the name " Our Rightful Realm"! I intend to post the new threads within the hour, so if you've yet to enter MotF 130 you'd better get your entry in now! (In all sincerity if you're still working on an entry and need a little more time I'm more than willing to delay posting the voting thread for a while, so do feel free to ask me to wait.)
